We still make our hummus the same way we did in 1987, by hand, every morning, from the original family recipe. Our falafel is fried to order. Our kabobs are charbroiled. Nothing comes out of a box.
We are quick, but quick never means cutting corners. You can grab a fast, satisfying lunch between classes or meetings and still get real, wholesome food made with quality ingredients, at a price that has always been fair. That is how we have done it for nearly four decades, and it is why Ann Arbor keeps coming back.

Last night we had dinner there. The food was great and very reasonably priced. The customer service was excellent. I definitely recommend!
Chicken kabob delightfully juicy with crunchy bits and delicious flavor. Enhanced with hummus and toum. Hummus is great on it's own too, and the fattoush salad is also good. Highly recommend!
This is my all time favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor. Been coming here for over 20 years! They have the best Mediterranean food and brings back so many flavors and plates that I grew up on as a kid with my family being Greek! Love it here!
This place is an ABSOLUTE GEM. Came here 4-5 times for good Mediterranean food during my time as a debate coach at UM's summer camp. Was deeply satisfied with both quality and portion size, which allowed me to have something to eat later!
I have been ordering take out from Jerusalem Garden for 14 years. I believe it is the best and most consistent carry out in Ann Arbor. Always fresh and tasty!
I absolutely love this place! The pita sandwich is excellent, and their hummus and falafel are truly outstanding. Recommended!
This was one of the best dining experiences we had in Ann Arbor. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Our server was excellent—friendly, courteous, and attentive throughout our visit. The food arrived quickly, and the entire staff was welcoming and attentive. The restaurant is located in a beautifully renovated building with an open, spacious layout. We especially enjoyed being able to see the open kitchen in action from a comfortable distance. They also offer curbside pickup, and although we saw several drivers picking up orders, it did not interfere with the dining experience at all. I was impressed not only by the quality of the food but also by how reasonable the prices were. This was a fantastic choice during our visit to Ann Arbor, and we would gladly return. They also offer a variety of vegetarian and pescatarian options.

These guys in the catering department are amazing! They communicate really well and definitely know what they are doing! Highly recommended for any event! Here at Michigan Medicine we will definitely use Andrea and her team for future events!
Consistently delicious food. This is a rarity anymore. We leave looking forward to our next return! The staff is lovely and the food is so on point and incredibly tasty! They are accommodating of our son's food allergies and so nice. This is a MUST try. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere is the center room tables (without booth) are too small for a family with all the side dishes. Otherwise this place is perfection on a plate! You will NOT leave hungry.
I've eaten at this place plenty of times and the food always smashes. I recently ordered catering from them and was very impressed with their punctuality, communication, and of course food quality. Definitely give this place a go if you haven't already.
Best falafel, hummus, and mjaddara I have ever had!! All of the food was delicious and super affordable and the service was great/fast. I will 1000% come back and recommend this place to everyone. (also Palestinian owned is always a plus)
The one thing that's hard to get from a restaurant nowadays is consistency. It goes without saying that Jerusalem Garden is one of the best restaurants in Ann Arbor. However, what sets it apart for me is that I can always count on the same high-level experience every time I dine in.
